Shelley and Cathy are two retired sisters from Ontario, Canada set out to discover the world on a budget. Shelley is quick to point out she is the youngest hahaha but only by a little bit. We live just outside a small community in an RV park during the summers in Ontario. We hate Canadian winters!!! Usually we spend 6 months, minus a day or two as required to maintain pensions and healthcare, traveling to warmer climates and exploring the world.
We both had bucket lists of places we wanted to go and, being seniors with limited incomes after retirement, we decided that if we pooled our pensions and travel together, it is doable! Neither of us want to live in luxury. We prefer a more cultural experience in travel and although we do visit some must-see tourist sights, we like living in the thick of things within a community setting. This gives us a better idea of the culture of the country we are visiting.
